Nature Calls

For this tutorial you will need the materials in the zip file below.

This tutorial was written using PSP2020 Ultimate. To work this tutorial, it is assumed you have some working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. Unzip materials in a folder you make on your desktop named Nature Calls. Save the original tubes and use copies for your work. Plugins used are Two Moon/String Thing, Penta/Color Dot, AAA Frames/Texture Frame and effects of PSP itself. Place Narah_Abstract015.mask into your PSP Masks folder. Save your work often.

The images used are those I created and tubed in an AI generator with the exception of the flower image. I found that online somewhere. If this is yours, please let me know and I'll give you credit for it.

Use the Mushrooms to mark your place along the way.

1. In materials Palette, set Foreground to color #fff8b8, Background color #794047.

2. File/New/New Image 526px by 789px. Flood fill with Background color #794047.

3. Effects/Penta.com/Color Dot. Repeat.

4. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

5. Layer/New Raster Layer. Flood fill with Foreground color #fff8b8.

6. Layers/Load Save Mask. Save Mask from Disk. Select from drop down arrow Narah_Abstract015.mask. Load.

7. Merge/Merge Group.

8. Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance.

9. Open FireflyCreation.png. Selection tool/Rectangle/Add (Shift)/Feather 0. Select around tubers watermark.

10. Delete/Deselect. Copy.

11. Paste as New Layer.

12. Image/Resize/Resize by 75%/Resize all layers unchecked.

13. Effects/Image Effects/Offset. Horizontal -11, Vertical 171, Custom and Transparent ticked.

14. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical -3, Horizontal -10, Opacity 38, Blur 15, color #000000.

15. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical 3, Horizontal 10, Opacity 38, Blur 15, color #000000.

16. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

17. Open GorgeousFlowers.png. Copy/Paste as New Layer.

18. Image/Mirror. Mirror Horizontal.

19. Image/Resize/Resize by 75%/Resize all layers unchecked.

20. Effects/Image Effects/Offset. Horizontal 229/Vertical -112, Custom and Transparent ticked.

21. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical -10, Horizontal 28, Opacity 35, Blur 31, Color #000000.

22. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

23. Paste as New Layer again. (Flowers still in memory).

24. Image/Resize/Resize by 75%/Resize all layers unchecked.

25. Effects/Image Effects/Offset. Horizontal -115/Vertical -312, Custom and Transparent ticked.

26. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical -10, Horizontal 28, Opacity 35, Blur 31, Color #000000.

27. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

28. Open CuddlingSongbirds.png. Selection Tool/Rectangle/Add (Shift)/Feather 0. Select around tubers watermark.

29. Delete. Deselect. Copy.

30. Paste as New Layer.

31. Image/Resize/Resize by 40%/Resize all layers unchecked.

32. Effects/Image Effects/Offset. Horizontal Offset 64/Vertical Offset -200, Custom and Transparent ticked.

33. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical 10, Horizontal -28, Opacity 35, Blur 31, color #000000.

34. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

35. Open Mushrooms.png. Copy/Paste as New Layer.

36. Effects/Image Effects/Offset. Horizontal -18, Vertical Offset -52, Custom and transparent ticked.

37. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Vertical -3, Horizonal -10, Opacity 38, Blur 13, color #000000.

38. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen.

39. Image/Add Borders/Add 3x border, Symmetric checked, color #fff8b8.

40. Image/Add Borders/Add 8px border, Symmetric checked, color #794047.

41. Using Magic Wand select the 8px border to activate it.

42. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel.

43. Selections/Select None.

44. In Materials Palette change the Foreground to Gradient. Corel_06_029, Linear, Angle 45/Repeats 3, all other settings Null.

45. Image/Add Borders/Add 8px border on top and bottom, 50px border on each side, Symmetric unchecked, color #fff8b8.

46. Using Magic Wand select the 50/8px border. Flood fill with Gradient.

47. Effects/Two Moon/String Thing. Selections/Select None.

48. In Materials Palette, change foreground to #c3f4c0.

49. Image/Add Borders/Add 8px border, Symmetric checked, color #c3f4c0.

50. Using Magic Wand select 8px green border to activate it.

51. Flood fill with #794047.

52. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel.

53. Effects/AAA Frames/Texture Frames.

54. Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance. Selections/Select None.

55. In Materials Palette, change foreground color from green back to yellow #fff8b8.

56. Image/Add Borders/Add 3px border, Symmetric checked, color #fff8b8.

57. Sign your name or leave watermark if you wish. Save as Nature Calls.jpg or .png.
